• Results from the Christie's auction of the personal property of Marilyn Monroe are available at Christie's web site.

• Entertainment Weekly has issued a "special collector's issue" dated Winter 1999 called The 100 Greatest Entertainers 1950-2000. Marilyn is rated as number three (after Elvis Presley and The Beatles) and is featured in a three-page section with photographs. Her picture is also one of those featured on the cover.
• The National Enquirer for December 21, 1999 features Marilyn as one of the daring women of the past century. There are two pictures accompanying the article on page 41, one of them a full page.
• People Weekly has an illustrated followup report of the Christie's auction titled Taking Marilyn Home in its November 15, 1999 issue (pages 64-66).
• Christies in New York will have an auction of the personal property of Marilyn Monroe October 27 & 28. Viewings of this collection will be open to the public in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Paris. See the Christies web site for details.
• American Movie Classics will present live coverage of the Christies auction on Wednesday night, October 27.
• There is a cover story about the Christies auction in People Weekly, August 16, 1999.
• Time: 75 Years is a retrospective of news stories featured in Time magazine. Included is an excerpt from their report about Marilyn's nude calendar, along with a small color photograph of her A New Wrinkle calendar pose. Available in both hardcover and softcover.
• The June 28, 1999 issue of Newsweek is a topical issue titled Voices of the Century: America Goes Hollywood. It includes an opening two page picture of Marilyn from The Misfits as well as an article about her titled The Fragile Bombshell (page 57).
• Marilyn appears on the cover of the March 22, 1999 issue of Newsweek with Joe DiMaggio. Marilyn is also featured in DiMaggio articles in Time (March 22, 1999) and U.S.News & World Report.
• The first issue of a new photography magazine,B&W, has a Milton Greene portrait of Marilyn on the cover. The issue date is Spring 1999.
• New DVD releases: We Remember Marilyn, Marilyn Monroe: Memories & Mysteries, and Say Goodbye to the President.
• The January 1999 (45th anniversary) issue ofPlayboy features Marilyn in an item titled Sex Stars of the Century. They have selected Marilyn as number one in their list of the top 100, and a foldout of a Bert Stern picture of Marilyn illustrates the feature. The cover is a stunning photomosaic, with Marilyn's Golden Dreams pose formed out of Playboy covers from the last 45 years. This issue is available as a back issue from the online Playboy Store.
• A new mini-edition of Milton's Marilyn has just been published.
