I chose this picture in honor of the new book, Blonde Heat: The Sizzling Screen Career of Marilyn Monroe by Richard Buskin... Marilyn on the back cover of Pageant magazine, March 1952. The inside photo story, Blonde Heat, featured pictures by André de Dienes as proof that Marilyn was "...the hottest thing in Hollywood since Jean Harlow".
