River of No Return (1954)

The Canadian wilderness is the backdrop for Marilyn's second and final western (the first was A Ticket To Tomahawk in 1950). She and Robert Mitchum did their own stunts in this film, resulting in several mishaps that delayed production.

American Movie Classics will show the widescreen version of River of No Return on April 13, 1996 at 2:15 am CDT.
